Advantages, disadvantages and safety risks of different milk bottles

At present, there are more plastic, glass and silicone milk bottles on the market.
Plastic bottle
It has the advantages of light weight, fall resistance and high temperature resistance, and is the largest product in the market. However, due to the use of antioxidants, colorants, plasticizers and other additives in the production process, it is easy to cause the dissolution of harmful substances when the production control is not good. At present, the materials used in plastic milk bottles are PPSU (polyphenylsulfone), PP (polypropylene), PES (polyether sulfone), etc. It should be noted that there is a kind of PC (polycarbonate) material, which used to be widely used in the manufacture of plastic milk bottles, but the milk bottles made of this material often contain bisphenol A. Bisphenol A, scientific name 2,2-bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) propane, abbreviated as BPA, is a kind of environmental hormone, which can disturb the metabolic process of human body, induce precocious puberty, and affect infant development and immunity.
Glass bottles
High transparency, easy to clean, but there is a risk of fragility, so it is more suitable for parents to use when feeding their babies at home. The bottle should meet the requirements of GB 4806.5-2016 national food safety standard glass products.
Silicone milk bottle
In recent years only gradually popular, mainly because of the soft texture, feel to the baby like mother’s skin. But the price is higher, inferior silica gel will have a pungent taste, need to be concerned. The silicone milk bottle shall meet the requirements of GB 4806.11-2016 national food safety standard rubber materials and products for food contact.
